Margaret School, a Catholic elementary School in Narberth, Pennsylvania, is in search of a principal to start the 2023-2024 school year.
St.
Margaret School is a parochial school which is overseen and supported by the Pastor of St.
Margaret Parish.
The School was founded in 1922 and served by the Sisters of Mercy for many years.
At this time the staff and teachers are all lay people, but we continue to strive to walk in the ways of mercy and compassion that the Sisters communicated in our School and Parish.
The School strives to develop the whole child:
spiritually, academically, emotionally, and physically.
The School exists to nurture children in our Catholic faith while providing them with the quality differentiated intellectual instruction required to attain valuable lifelong goals regardless of their race, religion, or ethnic background.
The Faculty and Staff guide children to become Christian leaders who will strengthen the Body of Christ by making a positive impact in an ever-changing world.
The current enrollment at Saint Margaret School is about 260 students from Prekindergarten through eighth grade.
The students are from a variety of racial and socio-economic backgrounds.
The School is accredited by the Middle States Association.
A CARES program is offered for before and after school care for the students.
Saint Margaret School has a dedicated School Advisory Board which is currently transitioning to a Board of Limited Jurisdiction.
The School has a strong Home and School Association and a Director of Advancement who oversees marketing and development.
Together, they give sound advice and plan and execute many events and fund raising initiatives throughout the year.
We offer a strong academic program designed to develop each child's potential while recognizing and adapting to individual leaning styles.
Our classroom academics are balanced with the opportunity for students to attend Spanish, Art, Music, Library and Physical Education classes.
There are part-time teachers for these special classes.
Chrome books are utilized in grades three through eight and classrooms are equipped with smartboards.
Saint Margaret School is defined by its Catholic identity.
The cornerstone of that identity is a commitment to Catholic Education and fostering a strong faith-based community.
The School is looking for an individual who is committed to strengthening this vital component of the School's identity and continuing to move the School forward in areas of curriculum and instruction.
The individual will be a good leader and provide guidance for faculty, staff, children and parents.
A willingness to provide consistent and meaningful interactions with students is vital to our school community.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience A practicing Catholic with a strong commitment to the teachings of the Church At least five years of experience as a teacher in a Catholic School and a Master's Degree in Educational administration/leadership, or a related area, and other certifications as required by the Office of Catholic Education of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Desired Competencies Personal commitment and witness to the Catholic faith Ability to communicate the mission of our School to students, parents, the parish and the wider community Relate respectfully and wisely with all members of the School community Primary agent for fostering an environment of Catholic faith formation, academic excellence, vitality and viability Encourage and foster in the students a love of leaning Utilize technology well as a tool for communication and education Actively recruit and retain students and qualified teachers Work with the School and Parish to support school events, and fundraising and admission initiatives An ability to help others achieve academic success and to promote a vision for the future of the School Proficiency in understanding school operations and managing a budget Application Process Interested and qualified candidates may send a resume, cover letter, three letters of recommendation, and updated clearances (FBI fingerprint, Child Abuse, and Criminal Background) to the address listed below.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
