Our client, a professional services firm in Narberth, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for an array of duties including assisting with program administration, responding to policy inquiries, preparing reports, coordinating training programs, and providing general support to the HR Department. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Human Resources experience.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs
Handle employee relations issues
Assist with the development of human resource policies and procedures
Partner with Training to coordinate and deliver new hire orientation programs
Coordinate with Benefits on leave-related issues and/or interactive process
Assist with administration of performance management and compensation programs
Preparation of day-to-day reports for HR-related metrics, organization charts, etc.
Monitor time tracking system and communicate with employees and managers regarding the use of PTO and/or time card entries and approvals
Draft, review, and edit internal employee communications and coordinate newsletter topics
Coordinate and deliver on-site training programs
Respond to unemployment notices, wage claims and employment verifications
Maintain I-9 forms in compliance with Federal laws
Maintain Human Resource information system records
Coordinate all CSR activities
Plan all company-wide employee engagement events, picnics and social gatherings
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned


Bachelor's degree required
2+ years of Human Resources experience
PHR certification preferred
Knowledge of HR best practices
Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws/regulations
Working knowledge and understanding of business concepts and processes
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Adept at multitasking and prioritizing
Superior customer service orientation
Exceptional project management skills
Superior analytical ability and critical thinking
Ability to make informed decisions based on data and statistics
Ability to work independently and without supervision as well as part of a team

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
